Teaching Philosophy

My goal is to help students achieve a solid, fundamental understanding of basic musical techniques and practices. I also aim to nurture their love of music and create a safe environment for students to express themselves musically. As a working and performing musician, I am continually being challenged musically and professionally, and I look forward to learning even more from my students. I truly believe that learning through teaching as well as training is important for any musician to maintain and improve their craft.
